By default the image cc-302 bit too software enhanced they call it "sharpness"but this "sharpness" level can be set to a lower level via fswebcam tool.

RPi USB Webcams -

Horizontal lines problem [2]. RasPi freezes reboot needed after a few minutes of using Motion to stream tested with external power.

There do appear to be some issues with image quality and getting partial frames and such, with fswebcam. This licensing tag was added to this file as part of the GFDL licensing update.

Then begins to work again. I haven't seen the problem with the first frames for pictures, but video needs some time for adjusting.
